The English duffle coat originated in the late 19th century, but it was during WW I that the mens hooded coat became popular—distributed to the Royal British Navy to protect sailors from bone-chilling winters at sea. True to the original style, ours has two large patch pockets in front and one interior patch pocket. Liner is of a tartan pattern—charcoal/red/camel. Traditionally, button toggles were made of horn. Ours are fuax horn, with genuine leather loops. Removable button chin flap and oversized hood. Mens hooded duffle coat in camel. Wool/polyester/polymide/acrylic. Dry clean only. UK.
